The Starfighter is our in house evolution of the frame we orignally built for our friends over at KidRobot with one of the largest media launches in history for a one of bike , this bike was a star before it ever knew it . To prove this is a REAL track frame designed to be ridden be brought the design back as the StarFighter designed to fight the hype !!
This frame features more of a upright riding position for ease of doing tricks or just being comfortable on long rides with your friends !

QUICKSILVER track frame $1000.00


Not named after the surf company or the original 60's rock band but YES we too named one of our track frames after a cheesy 80's movie .
Sure numerous other companies have frames named after those kids from Breaking away , but they didn't even ride track bikes in that movie .
Way back on the 80's when I was a young kid I remember this scene from Quicksilver the movie YES they even tricked Fixed gears way back in the 80's
So this was my inspration for creating a bike that could be ridden by messengers , racers and even trick kids .
I feel after a full year of testing that this current version is perfect for all uses .

It's been a long summer , I apologize for the lack of web updates over the past few months .
As some of you might know already I was in a car accident in my .:R32 earlier this year , which left me commuting as a Cyclist all summer long on my fixed gear . Since I put a few hundred miles on this bike over the past 5 months I thought I'd show it some love by posting a bike check.

We have been building allot of custom fixed gear frame recently .
Here are a few of my personal favorites so far .

Singapore Andy's bike

Andy requested a fixed gear bike that would like a BMX bike
This is a 100% TrueTemper OX platinum tubeset , built to Andy's very specific spec's
49cm seattube , 53cm Toptube
Features include : slightly taller headtube to allow for barspin clearence for the front wheel and more extension to the top side of the HT so you dant have to ran as many headset spacers .
Color : trans blue over chrome

This is Joni's first fixed gear , Joni told me he wanted a bike that didnt look like you were supposed to be wearing Spandex to go ride it . So I built him a "lifestyle" bike you can still do trick on !
This is basically what will be come our Quicksilver production fixed gear frame.

The lost arm.

Everything has been very busy here lately at Nem-Pro HQ , please excuse the lack of blog post over the past few weeks .
We finally moved into the new Nemesis Project / KOWA factory offices in Downtown Sacramento ! It's a nice live work style loft located in a building owned by a architectural firm located next door to our offices.
During the first week I was staying there the alarm went off 3 times and there was a high speed police chase right outside my door. This from what I hear resulted in a lost arm due to his car flipping over wile he still had it out the window trying to look "gangsta " From the pic's you can see the cops had my entire block shut down for most of the night , right in front of my front door . It was entertaining to watch them do their best to clean up as I sat and ate my dinner . LAter that night after the cops took off I walked down the block and saw the trail of wreckage from were the cops flipped the guys car over into someone's front lawn.
Sorry no pic's of the arm I got home about 5 min after they cleaned that ish up and hauled lefty off to the clink.

Nemesis Project 700c B-spin forks !

Yes that's right were still forking around here at Nemesis Project .
This time around we have our new 700c Bar-spin forks for all you fixed gear riders out there .

These forks were made for us by Bill and Aaron Groove of Groove Fabrications fame .

Axle to crown : 395mm will not effect steering like a MTB fork will, bike will ride similer to stock fork with a 28c tire!!

These forks are designed to be a nice bar spinable alternative to some of the heavier MTB and BMX forks being used my some fixed gear riders today or if you have a nicer lugged frame and want a fork that will allow you to do tricks without taking away from the style of your lugged bike.

We only have a few of these available , quality is off the charts these forks are amazingly beautiful .

KOWA - New machines production Nem-Pro Forks !

I received a few new toys from our friends over at KOWA the other day .

By now I guess it not a huge secret that I have been working with KOWA suspension from Osaka, Japan
For the past year I have been working on the development of a production dirt Jumping fork , similer to the tuned forks we were selling in the past . I wanted to make a few changes to the design we were working with wile also making the forks production . Custom tuning large 3's for forks isn't very cost effective so the logical manor of thinking was to have a fork produced to our spec . After talking with several suspension companies we came to a agreement with KOWA .
The fork you see pictured below is the first version of the KOWA / Nemesis Project production dirt jump fork .

The fork might look a little over built to todays standards , it's not a XC fork by any stretch of the mind .
We designed the crown and lowers to be strong , we didn't want to put our custom's or our team riders lives at risk by producing a product that was inferior or that would break if used for it's intended purpose .
So the chassis might be a little beefy and the fork is a little tall in the axle to crown area.
Considering this for a initial product release we are very pleased with the quality of this product and how it performs for DJ and street application on a freestyle or URBAN Mountain bike .
This will be available in limited # very shortly , please stay tuned to this blog for more updates .

A few months back alex from France contacted me and asked if it would be possible to build him a custom version of the frame we used for the KidRobot bike . After a few emails I agreed to build Alex a custom StarFighter frame .
This is a first of what may come to be a production frame , but for now Alex has the only one and it's BadAss !

I'll let Felix show you the frame and some of the details .
